About Sarah Leishman, LMFT

From a young age, I have been an observer of the ways people interact, the spoken and unspoken words that impact how we relate, and the hurts and fears that motivate how we behave. I knew then that it was my passion and calling to help people heal from those hurts and find the safety necessary to grow as individuals and in relationships.

I followed that passion through my undergraduate work at Middle Tennessee State University and my graduate work at Trevecca Nazarene University where I further understood the impact that a client’s past and current relationships has on their wellbeing. My work with clients, whether couples, families, or individuals, is primarily through an attachment lens, helping clients move toward health by providing a safe space to feel heard, known, and accepted. I would be honored to walk with you on your path to healing.

In my free time, I enjoy nature hikes, bike rides, books, and exploring new places with my family.
